Younger plants of grasses can be sent mailorder at any time of the year. Postage and packing costs are £1 for up to 3 young plants, there are discounts on larger quantities - please ask for details. We can quote you for sending larger specimen plants, depending on the size, variety etc

This is a list of grasses that we normally stock - we may have other varieties from time to time - please ask if you don’t see what you want. Prices are £1 for a plant in a 9cm pot, £2 in a 2 litre pot, £3-£7.50 in larger sizes. Not all varieties will be available in the smallest and largest sizes depending on the time of year and stock levels. If you contact us we will be happy to quote you for requirements.

ACORUS
Gramineus “Ogon” - stiff fan shaped groups of leaves like a small Phorium, golden variegated
Gramineus Variegatus - similar to the above but with white striped leaves.
ALOPECURUS PRATENSIS AUROVARIEGATUS - dwarf spreading grass with gold green variegated leaves.

ARUNDINARIA PUMILA - dwarf bamboo hardy - suitable for containers.

Donax Versicolor - very tall and striking grass with gold striped leaves growing up to 5 ft

Acutifolia Overdam - pink, orange, green narrow leaves, graceful plumes in summer. Height 3ft

CAREX
- the sedges is one of the largest and most useful family of grasses. They are clump-forming and non-invasive. Dwarf forms good in containers.
